In the role of Lecturer, you will be expected to lead on the development and delivery of initiatives specifically, but not exclusively, in the areas of Tourism and Events Management.    Specific responsibilities are likely to include delivery of modules across a range of key tourism and events areas such as destinations, culture, tourism theories and perspectives, contemporary issues in tourism and events, fundraising for events, legislation, HR, event planning and event communications. Specific experience in Esports event design and management is also sought. An ability to further develop and engage with the School’s network of external organisations is required, in order to secure placements and project opportunities for students.

You must be an enthusiastic, reliable and resourceful academic with ambition to undertake research, consultancy and income generating activities. You must be educated to doctoral or equivalent level professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
