About the position

Multiple positions available in the areas of Construction Management & Quantity Surveying.

As members of academic staff within the Faculty of Society and Design, these positions will be responsible for contributing to teaching and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The positions are also expected to maintain and develop activities relevant to the profession.

About the person:

The successful applicants will hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience in a relevant discipline. They will possess either:

  • Formal educational experience in contemporary teaching methods such as self-directed learning, small group learning, web-based learning or blended learning, and/or
  • A demonstrable commitment and willingness to embrace such teaching methods, and/or
  • Demonstrated ability to present to groups of 20 to 40 people on complex topics using a variety of presentation approaches and technologies.  
  • The ability to supervise and mentor postgraduate students, as well as show a commitment to the ongoing success of the Faculty would be highly regarded.
