The Student and Academic Services Unit (SAS) provides senior leadership in student and academic administration, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks. The Unit administers and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions, including student admissions, enrollments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.
In this position you will oversee the process integrity to ensure the effective operation of the University’s graduate research scholarships, prizes, awards and candidature. This includes continuous improvement and provision of business processes, systems and training in scholarships and prizes administration. You will assist in the coordination of scholarships, ensuring data integrity, and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
You will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and knowledge in a similar role together with the ability to manage complex information systems and processes using analytical and information management skills and a high degree of computer literacy. Sound interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work with technical, academic and administrative staff at all levels of an organisation, are essential for this role.
