Research Associate/Research Fellow in Health
About the job
The Health Economics and Social Policy Group (HESPG) research focus is to better understand the causes and consequence of entrenched and profound disadvantage, to determine how to efficiently disrupt negative intergenerational trajectories.
This new position will contribute to the research activities of the Health Economics and Social Policy Research Group, particularly in relation to a new data link project to estimate the downstream consequences of child maltreatment. The role will require high level conceptual, methodological and analysis skills (across a range of techniques) and experience in working with linked health and social data sets as well as in costing and downstream modelling.
Skills and Experience
You will have postgraduate or PhD qualifications combined with experience working with linked health and social data sets and demonstrated experience in the use of statistical data programming languages and software. Your strong understanding of data security and confidentiality along with strong communication skills and your ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse research group will be essential for success in this role.
