Within the portfolio of Corporate Engagement and Advancement, the Office of Advancement leads and supports the University's fundraising and alumni engagement endeavours. The Alumni Relations team focuses on building and extending a world class Alumni Relations program that is a leader in its field, domestically and internationally.

The Role

The Office of Advancement is looking for an Alumni Mentoring Manager to develop and implement a university-wide alumni mentoring program, to connect students and alumni with professional mentors, increase employability for mentees, and deepen alumni engagement with the University.

In this newly created position, the successful candidate will work with a variety of senior stakeholders to develop programs that will ultimately reach the full breadth of the Macquarie Community: currently nearly 40,000 students and 180,000 Alumni. You will be responsible for the program from conception to implementation, and will promote and generate interest in the program to key stakeholders and potential participants.

Selection Criteria

  • Qualification and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience in project management
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in implementing successful professional development and/or leadership programs within budget
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering effective online learning training
  • Experience in working within large and complex environments, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Some experience in supervising and/or coordinating staff
  • High level of digital competency and sound understanding social media

Note: This position requires a criminal record check.

Salary Package: From $99,218 to $110,402 p.a. (HEW Level 8), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
