The Waikato Management School offers highly regarded degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and is one of eight Faculties at the University of Waikato. We offer a Major in Human Resource Management within the Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) and Bachelor of Business degrees. You will be expected to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate level papers in human resource management; undertake research; supervise research students; have proven academic leadership skills for Senior Lecturer level and participate in professional and industry engagement.

With a PhD in a relevant discipline such as human resource management, industrial and organisational psychology, employment relations or related field, you will have demonstrated high levels of teaching skills and experience with a research record appropriate to the level of position applied for. The ability to communicate effectively with students and staff is essential along with a willingness to contribute to Faculty and University administration. Relevant industry experience is advantageous.

The level of appointment will be dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
