The Research & Innovation Portfolio oversees research and research training across the University through the development and implementation of RMIT University's strategic research priorities and managing research systems and reporting requirements. The Portfolio supports the research activity of staff and student researchers with professional development, collaboration and funding opportunities, ethics and responsible conduct compliance, contract development, intellectual property, project completions and profiling.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Project Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support as part of the Research Services Transformation Project team. You will provide the day-to-day administration, communication and logistical support of project activities and facilitate the exchange of information between related stakeholders.

The Project Administrative Coordinator works collaboratively in a team environment and with key stakeholders within the Portfolio and across the University to assist in meeting the goals of the Portfolio by providing high-quality information and outputs on all aspects of Research and Innovation activities.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will be a strong administrator with demonstrated experience in a similar project role. Your previous experience would include document control and preparation of presentations. You will have the ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment with tight deadlines. You will have very strong organisation skills as well as highly developed interpersonal skills.
