Research Associate in Pharmaceutical Science
About the job
You will contribute to research projects in the field of advanced drug delivery science that are supported by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Convergent Bio-Nano and Technology (CBNS), and under the broad direction of the Head of Prestidge Research Group in order to achieve defined objectives and test research hypothesis by undertaking pilot studies, reviewing literature, and drafting proposals and research grant applications. You will also facilitate the dissemination of research findings by assembling data for reports and scientific papers, and participate in meetings, workshops and seminars.
Skills and Experience
A postgraduate qualification in pharmaceutical science, nanomedicine, biomedical science and engineering or a related discipline is essential, as is previous experience in the preparation and characterisation of particle based delivery systems for small molecules or biologicals. Demonstrated participation in relevant areas of research and knowledge of literature involved and laboratory procedures relevant to drug delivery science is also critical.
Your high level interpersonal skills and collaborative approach to research, along with your ability to manage competing demands and meet project timelines will ensure your success in this role.
