Our research focuses on some of the most fundamental issues facing humankind today. Fifty percent of our organisation is made up of Professional Services support staff that partner closely with the Academic colleges to ensure we achieve our strategy and vision.

Exeter has become one of the UK's fastest growing and fastest rising research universities, and we are now investing in our new Directorate of Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB) to drive forward our already strong relationships with business; grow our potential for significant impact; and galvanise regional innovation.

We are looking for an Impact & Partnership Development Manager with a biosciences or related background, and experience in business and partnership development to join the IIB Environment, Sustainability & Food Security Team.  The role holder will take the lead for the "Environmental Bio-Economy" Theme, and will work with researchers from across the University. You will be responsible for supporting business engagement and impact development; research collaboration with industry and government partners; relationships with key partners; and ensuring we are able to support delivery of the Biosciences and Biotechnology themes of the UK Industrial Strategy. You will operate within a broader team of IPDM's and alongside staff from other Professional Services teams; you will identify opportunities for impact, partnership development and income generation, and will bring together internal teams to develop proposals.
