Student Adviser

Permanent, part time opportunity (22.2 hours per week - 10.30am - 3.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 12.15pm - 4.30pm, Friday)

Salary - £18,777 - £20,411 per annum (pro rata)

Reporting to the Student Information and Advice Manager, Student Advisers work as part of the Student Information Desk, providing information, advice and guidance to students, staff and visitors.  This is done via a range of approaches including face-to-face, telephone, e-mail, and through the new enquiry management system (SID).  The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of a high quailty, student centred, advice and information service.  This includes the delivery of first level guidance, and the efficient organisation of appointments and information systems.

We are seeking highly motiovated applicants with experience of delivering a high level of excellent customer service, often around sensitive issues, and who are good communicators across all forms of media.  Applicants must be able to understand the needs of a diverse range of students and have a commitment to the continuous improvement of the student experience.
