About the job
In this newly created position, as our Facilities and Services Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in the management of the Universities Space Management System, Electronic Work Request System Contractor Management system and other Facilities and Services systems providing university wide services and related interfaces. Using your high level of expertise in technical software functions, including the implementation of additional software modules and the development of report structures, you will be comfortable in analysing and optimising our space management needs. Managing a small team of people, you will be required to manage strategic project deliverables, and to deliver effective training and development of users in Facilities software functionality.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated skills in the provision of space management and electronic work request software support
- Ability to test and implement complex space management, work request management systems, other facilities based software systems and lead projects in system development
