The Faculty is now seeking to appoint a new Head of School, Civil and Environmental Engineering. As a member of the Faculty Executive the Head of School, Civil and Environmental Engineering will be responsible for providing academic leadership and guiding the implementation of strategies to advance the standing of the School and the Faculty in terms of its research, education and wider engagement programs.

The successful candidate will bring a track record of inspired leadership, a demonstrated capacity to think strategically and provide vision to guide strategy development and implementation in an academic context. S/he will have experience as a distinguished academic, with substantial contribution to scholarship and research. Critical to the success of this position is building close and effective relationships across the Faculty and UTS as well as engaging with stakeholders to attract resources to support the operations and development of the School. Candidates will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills and passion to operate effectively as a member of a collaborative team in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
