The Role

Group Marketing manages and promotes the University's brand, reputation and achievements. Within this function, the Strategy team is responsible for creating purpose in communications and ensures consistency in our messages. The team engages with all areas within the university to create and implement marketing strategies to deliver a clear and consistent brand message.

Our Strategy team is looking for a talented marketing specialist to partner with the Faculty of Arts. The successful candidate will develop, implement and review complex and multi-channelled marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives aligned to university marketing strategies to enhance the University's branding. You will build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify market differentiators and positioning, design strategies and distinctive propositions aimed at maximising target audience responsiveness, and implement the annual activity plan. 

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the position, you must submit an updated CV, and a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the selection criteria below:

  • Degree and/or equivalent experience in marketing or related discipline
  • A track record of developing and implementing successful strategic marketing campaigns, including the ability to identify issues and develop resolution strategies
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, and navigate complex systems and structures to achieve objectives

Salary Package: From $99,218 to $110,402 p.a. (HEW Level 8), plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.

Appointment Type: Full time, parental leave cover (1 year)
