Campus Wellbeing provides Counselling, Triage, Advocacy, Welfare, Religious and Disability support services to Macquarie University students.  The Administration Services Unit provides administrative support to all the Business Units of Campus Wellbeing and Support Services.

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Assistant to provide efficient administrative support to the office of Campus Wellbeing and Support Services. The role requires a fast paced individual who is comfortable managing challenging customer service situations and can provide a high level of customer service at all times.

Selection Criteria 

To be considered for the position, you must submit a cover letter (no more than 2 pages) which addresses the criteria below and upload this and your CV as part of the application process:

  • Demonstrated skill and experience in the provision of administrative and secretarial support.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage confidential matters with discretion.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the capacity to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing conflict in a customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in providing exceptional service to customers.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and systems.

Salary Package: $63,882 - $68,850 (HEW Level 4) plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
