Manager in Digital Marketing, Metropolitan College, Administration
Serve as the digital expert for Metropolitan College & Extended Education. Work with the Executive Director for Marketing & Communications on executing the strategic vision of the College utilizing digital, content, social media, and search engine marketing. Lead and manage web & social media team and projects to ensure that MET College is on the cutting-edge of academic innovation. Oversee all web initiatives. Serve in a leadership role for digital marketing initiatives and overall digital business operations. Cover Letter is required to be considered for this position.
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related discipline; 5 to 8 years experience in digital functions including (not limited to) digital strategy, content marketing, digital advertising, website strategy and deployment, user experience and architecture, SEO strategy development.
Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practice. Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media. Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role. Substantial technical experience or knowledge. Ability to provide coaching or feedback in a constructive manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and strong ability to multi-task and work on a cross-functional team.
Adaptable problem-solver and team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently. Able to work on many projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical, presentation, and time management skills. Ability to handle a high volume of work in a short period of time, handle multiple priorities simultaneously and operate in a demanding work environment is important.
