We are seeking a quality scholar for an Associate/ Assistant Professorship in Psychology in any of the following sub-disciplines:

  • Clinical, Health and Community Psychology; 
  • Language/Literacy development (Educational/Developmental Psychology); and
  • Neuroscience (Cognitive/Social/Developmental/Clinical Psychology). 

Applicants should have (i) a relevant doctoral degree; (ii) a strong publication track record and proven ability to obtain grants; (iii) demonstrated academic leadership; (iv) international experience; and (v) rich experience in and strong commitment to supervise postgraduate students. 

The appointee will (a) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses; (b) supervise students’ projects and theses; and (c) assist in administrative duties.

Scholars with demonstrated research excellence and a track record of extramural competitive funding are particularly encouraged to apply. 

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for three years initially commencing in August 2018, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later.
