The Greenwich Research and Enterprise (GRE) directorate is the underpinning professional services division that supports academic colleagues in the delivery of this portfolio. GRE is now seeking to recruit outstanding individuals to become part of a flexible and dynamic team of multi-skilled support professionals. Each role will provide proactive support to academic researchers based in a specific Faculty or more widely, assisting in the securing of research and enterprise income, and delivering impact from those endeavours. The roles will also include element of building the capability and expertise of the researcher base.
This role of the Research Development Officer (RDO) is to proactively support academic colleagues to continue the growth in research income from private and public funding sources, by taking the lead in ensuring that the proposals are of the highest possible quality, providing project management support for University of Greenwich co-ordinated bids, provision of non-scientific texts, costing and budget development, facilitating the peer review process, and a proposal read-through service.
One post holder will be based at Medway campus and one post holder will be split between Greenwich and Avery Hill campuses. Please specify in the "Additional Information" section of the application your prefered location. Please note the post based at Medway will not attract London Weighting.
