School of Agriculture and Food Sciences

The School of Agriculture and Food Sciences is seeking casual demonstrators and tutors for courses in Semester 1, 2018 at both Gatton and St Lucia campuses.

Applicants must possess at least an undergraduate degree majoring in the discipline in which they seek to demonstrate. You will either have relatively recent experience with the course material or a demonstrated capacity to become familiar with the material in a short time.

You may be studying at Honours or postgraduate level at UQ or another university or be working as a research assistant or postdoctoral fellow. Perhaps you have taught in your field at a significant level in the past and are looking to return to the workforce.

Hours will vary according to the class timetable. Classes typically run 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on some or all of the weeks between 19 February - 2 June 2018. A commitment for the whole of the semester is required. Some training is provided.

The selection process involves assessment of your application and an interview which may include a technical skills analysis.
