We are looking for a Head of Department to join our new College of Arts Technology and Innovation. The College has four Departments, this post being the Department lead for Media, Fashion and Communications. The Department offers a number of undergraduate and post graduate programmes, ranging from Film through to Fashion Design. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape and form the distinctive new Department. You will lead the delivery of a growth plan and future ambition of the Department, which includes increase of student numbers and an expansion of the teaching and research portfolio as well as high levels of student retention and graduate employment. 

You will have an advanced level of academic, professional/industrial engagement and an expertise rooted in Fashion and or Media. You will be expected to contribute to the formation of the School and College Strategy as well as providing effective management of the Department to ensure excellent teaching, learning and research.
