Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Management/Administration
As part of our on-going development strategy, the University Of Greenwich Faculty Of Business is seeking a Lecturer in Business Management/Administration. Appointments are expected to be at Lecturer level, with Senior Lectureship appointment considered for outstanding candidates.

The Business Faculty, based in the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich – a UNESCO World Heritage site – has a strong commitment to diversity and internationalism and this is reflected in our staff and student profiles.

You will be joining Systems Management & Strategy, a Department with internationally recognised research and teaching in the areas of business strategy, small business development, sustainable and responsible planning and management, business ecosystems and innovation in business environments. The Department runs a number of successful postgraduate programmes including an Executive MBA, and specialised Masters Programmes. Our undergraduate programmes in general Business subject areas, as well as specialisations in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Purchasing and SCM, and others, are very popular and attract a high number of students. The Faculty improved its latest REF performance significantly and the Department was a major contributor. There are strong research teams within the department specialisations which provide research that is of significance to businesses, the society and environment, urban ecosystems, and circular economy.

The advertised role is for a highly effective person who will be involved in internationally recognised research and teaching in a variety of business topics. The position offers opportunities for research and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in the shaping of the future development of the department’s approach to its curriculum design. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring course materials and learning activities within a blended learning environment and providing excellent student care.
