A lecturer/senior forensic lecturer is required to forward Forensic Science at undergraduate levels in the Department of Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Environmental Sciences, which is part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Greenwich at Medway.

The appointed person will be a specialist within a particular area of Forensic Science but be able to teach across the wider subject matter of the discipline. In addition to teaching duties, the person appointed will play a significant part in developing new forensically related courses and will play an important role in the pastoral supervision of students. 

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in an appropriate forensic discipline or is happy to work towards one coupled with extensive practical professional experience in a forensically focussed role. He or she will alsohave a track record of research/enterprise in this or an aligned subject area, experience of teaching at undergraduate level and be able to develop our forensic programmes through the introduction of new teaching materials and strategies. Membership of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences would also be an advantage.
