Job Description

Carry out the duties of the graduate student Registrar for the Questrom School of Business, including all aspects of student registration, maintenance of student records, student correspondence, and verification of graduation status. Responsible for the publication of all registration materials. Assist Director of Course Planning with scheduling graduate classes, event scheduling, and compiling the final exam schedule. Work with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and the Directors of Graduate Programs on registration policy issues, data collection, report generation and policy implementation. Act as a liaison between faculty and administration, serving as a resource for BU faculty, and coordinating activities across departments. Handle all archiving of graduate program materials.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., Masters Degree preferred, excellent computer skills, including database management, knowledge of MS Office, experience with UIS preferred, excellent organizational and administrative skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals and as a member of a team Three to five years of experience in an academic setting preferred.
