Ruskin Mill Land Trust

Ruskin Mill Land Trust (a charitable trust) holds, preserves and develops the vision, research and academic method of Ruskin Mill.  Its associated charitable company, Ruskin Mill Trust Limited, provides innovative and experiential education and training for young people marginalised by disadvantage, exclusion or special learning needs.  Inspired by Rudolf Steiner and John Ruskin, the charity actively promotes - through craftsmanship and entrepreneurship - the traditional economic activities of the Cotswolds, Midlands and Sheffield (at Colleges in each geographical location).  Ruskin Mill Land Trust owns all the land and properties supporting the operations of Ruskin Mill Trust Limited and leases or rents these assets in pursuit of its charitable objects.

Applications are invited for the following post, based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire working 40 hours per week and will include evening and weekends to cover events.

Field Centre Manager
£29,507 - £34,713  per annum dependant on experience and qualifications

The Field Centre acts as a confluence for collaborative research into Rudolf Steiner’s spiritual scientific methods. We are looking for a manager to organise the calendar of events, participate in an active research and education programme and contribute to the research journal Seven Fields. Additional duties will include management and administration for the centre as well as safeguarding the users.  

The applicant will have the opportunity to take part in sponsored research opportunities. 

Knowledge of Goethean methodologies would be desirable. 

A contribution to relocation expenses may be considered.
