As a member of the Organisational and Staff Development’s academic development team, you will work proactively with colleagues to promote and enhance staff development at the University and contribute to teaching and facilitation across OSDU’s accredited and CPD provision. You will develop and deliver online and blended classes on the SPARK (Strathclyde Programme in Academic practice, Researcher development, and Knowledge exchange) programme and contribute to the University’s SPIRAL (Strathclyde Programme in Research and Leadership) and STEP (Strathclyde Teaching Excellence Programme) programmes. 

A key aspect of this role will be e-learning development. You will have experience and knowledge in the use of media and technology to enhance learning and academic development. You will work closely with colleagues to help create a dynamic and sustainable model for future provision and enhancement, ready to respond to change and adapt to stakeholder needs.
You will contribute to the management and coordination of professional development programmes and classes within OSDU’s accredited and non-accredited programmes as well as working with colleagues across the University to support excellence in research, teaching, and knowledge exchange practice. The ability to work within a team environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to plan and organise your own workload effectively are essential.
