The Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, Chair of Inorganic Molecular Chemistry offers a position as
Research Associate / PhD Position / Postdoc
(Subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)
starting as soon as possible in a DFG funded project “New methods for a specific and selective buildup of polyphosphorus compounds”. The position entails 50 % of the fulltime weekly hours for a PhD Position respectively 100 % of the fulltime weekly hours for a Postdoc and is limited until 30.06.2019. The period of employment is governed by Fixed Term research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD/habilitation thesis).
Tasks: work independently on the research project, synthetic works and analytical characterisation, advanced inert atmosphere technique.
Requirements: university degree (Master or equivalent) in chemistry, respectively university degree and PhD preferably in organic or inorganic chemistry; organisational skills; high motivation; an integrative and cooperative personality; interest in application-oriented chemical research; experience in synthetic and inorganic molecular chemistry.
