An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the University of Bristol Capital Project Department which carries responsibility for the delivery of construction projects ranging from £50k to £50m plus.

You will be responsible for the management of part of a substantial capital and refurbishment programme, from initial concept through design, specification, planning, tender preparation and bid evaluation to the supervision of construction, completion and occupation to defined timescales.  With previous experience of working with multi-disciplinary design teams on technically complex construction projects you will lead and direct the team in order to achieve the University’s Capital Projects requirements.

Enthusiastic and calm under pressure, you will have proven construction project management and contract administration skills.  You will be confident in communicating at all levels and have the personal drive to deliver projects on time, within budget and in accordance with the brief.

Working as part of a successful and highly motivated team, this is a fantastic role contributing to the development of the University and its Estate at a time of major opportunity.  In return you will benefit from a competitive salary and benefits package (including a generous holiday entitlement) and the opportunity to work within a friendly, engaging and professional environment.
