Salary: $88,171 - $95,444 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

The Facilities Coordinator plays an integral role in ensuring that the Melbourne School of Engineering facilities and related services are maintained and continually improved to effectively support the School’s teaching and learning, research and administrative activities. The position proactively supports the implementation of the School’s Accommodation Strategy.

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for delivering high quality professional facilities support and services for the School’s dedicated Facilities and OHS portfolio and the unique needs of a STEM faculty (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The role is responsible for effective and efficient coordination of facility upgrades and relocations.

More broadly, the position acts as the contact point for facilities related activities delivered by University Services, and the position will develop, maintain, and remediate where necessary, effective working relationships with University Services to ensure high quality and timely service delivery in this area.

The School has committed significant investment in its infrastructure in order to achieve its vision of critical mass by 2025 and this is supported by the redevelopment of the Parkville Engineering Precinct.
