Research Services Officer - Joint Colleges of Science
Classification: ANU Officer Grade 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $66,904 to $73,309 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, 12 months fixed term
The Joint Colleges of Science administration team delivers high quality administrative support and leadership to the core academic activities of research and education for the ANU Joint Colleges of Science, the most research intensive unit of the University. The Research Services Officer is a part of the Research Management team in the Joint Colleges of Science and is a key administrative role in the delivery of high quality, research management services to scientists within a supportive team environment. The successful applicant will have a strong customer service focus, ability to prioritise competing deadlines, be an experienced administrator with the ability to interpret and provide strategic advice on policy and funding guidelines.
Highly developed administrative and excellent organisational skills are essential. The successful applicant will exercise initiative and work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Science qualifications, including science communication, will be highly regarded. An interest in science and/or medicine is a must!
