Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Social Work

This teaching focussed position will contribute principally to teaching and to the scholarship of teaching within the Bachelor of Social Work (honours) and Masters of Social Work Studies. Postgraduate supervision and further development of the School’s social work programs will be expected, as well as undertaking administrative activities associated with the School/Faculty/University.
Applicants should possess a PhD in the area of social work and be eligible for membership with the AASW. Expertise in one or more of the following areas would be highly regarded: human development, field education, research for social work practice, working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Candidates should have a demonstrated enthusiasm for engaging in high quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and evidence of contribution to the scholarship of teaching commensurate with the position level.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for three years at Academic level B or C.
The remuneration for Academic Level B will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be $107,807 - $128,020 p.a.).
The remuneration for Academic Level C will be in the range $112,874 - $130,150 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be $132,063 - $152,276 p.a.).
