A new Technology Projects Office is being established, under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer to effectively deliver an exciting programme of technology change within the university. The Projects Office will work with colleagues across IT, Library and service users across the university to deliver technology change including a new Student Records System, Roaming Profiles, Office 365, continuing own device support, app development and further development of our Wi-Fi provision. 

We are now seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead a range of technology change projects. The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have a track record of effective delivery of technology projects from conception to completion. 

Example projects could include: 

  • Office 365 
  • Attendance monitoring solution 
  • Improving digital capabilities 
  • Postgraduate enrolment system 
  • Distance learning programme implementation 
  • Cyclical replacement programme 
  • Lecture capture 

The project values range from £40k to £1m.
