The Library & Archives Service of this major international postgraduate medical school is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to staff the Library in the late evenings during term-time and undertake various projects in support of the service. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working successfully in a library and demonstrable knowledge of issues relating to the delivery of library services.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and be service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to take responsibility are also essential.
The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 3 scale in the range £24,761 - £28,053 per annum (pro rata) inclusive. This post is part-time, 0.21 FTE – please see attached the Further Particulars for details on the working days and hours. The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year and in addition to this, there are a number of discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the pension scheme is available.
