Applicants are invited for appointment as Lecturer (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education, to commence as soon as possible, on a two- or three-year fixed-term basis.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, preferably in Education or Health Professions Education with post-doctoral experience.  Experience in curriculum development, faculty development, teaching, administration and educational research are highly desirable.  Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent spoken and written English, strong organizational ability and self-motivation, aptitude in instructional design using social media/e-learning applications, and a keen interest in promoting undergraduate student learning are essential.  Proficiency in Cantonese is an asset.   The appointee will coordinate a cross-institutional project in Hong Kong aimed at connecting and engaging undergraduate learners in a virtual environment.

The appointee will mainly be responsible for the overall management and administrative work of the project, with teaching, curriculum development, and research as the key components.  He/She will work closely with the project leaders to ensure good communication within the project team and with all project partners; execute the project according to timelines; coordinate and deliver training; monitor and engage with students on the designated e-platform, and develop and present progress reports, evaluation and research studies related to the project.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 201701042) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
