Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, to commence as soon as possible for three years.
Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research (Ph.D. or equivalent) in psychiatry, with experience in community-based research.
They should have excellent organisational, communication, as well as strong quantitative research and analytical skills, with demonstrated expertise in organising quantitative research, conducting psychiatric interviews, large scale database management and statistical analysis. Proficiency with one or more statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, Mplus) is required. The appointee will be joining the psychogeriatric research team and given opportunities to engage in aging-related research which focuses on the mental health of the elderly or near-elderly population. He/She is expected to conduct independent scholarly research, lead projects, prepare manuscripts and reports, and assist in the supervision of junior research staff and students.
