The School of Communication and Creative Industries is one of seven schools within the Faculty of Arts and Education at Charles Sturt University. It is a multi-campus school with staff based in Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and Port Macquarie. The School fosters an environment of innovation, creativity and critical thinking through excellence in teaching, research and professional practice in a wide range of interdisciplinary fields across Communication, Visual Art, Design and Performing Arts.

The person we are seeking to fill the position of Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Theatre/ Media will be an educator with strong practical experience and knowledge of contemporary theatre and media practice. They will be able to conceive, produce, direct and deliver performances with students engaging in multiple production and performance roles. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other academics, participate in the administration and ongoing development of subjects offered by the School, and contribute to our research profile through peer-reviewed creative works and research publications, grant incomes, and community engagements, in line with the strategic direction of the School and university.
