Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. 

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Computational biology/Bioinformatics or related disciplines.  They should have a strong quantitative background with demonstrated experience in analysis of biomedical data; and be familiar with the software and programming tools e.g. R and Python that are widely used in data analysis.  The appointee will join a dynamic research group with opportunities to conduct research projects related to liver cancer.  A main focus of the appointee’s work will be on integrative analysis of genomic data.  He/she should also be self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining the smooth running of a research laboratory.  Enquiries should be directed to Dr. Carmen Wong at carmencl@pathology.hku.hk.
