Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, to commence in January 2018 for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree specialized in primary healthcare research, mental health illnesses, medical sociology, or related disciplines.  They should be self-motivated and have strong qualitative as well as quantitative background with demonstrated experiences in conducting in-depth individual and group interviews, organising hospital-based and territory-wide quantitative surveys, statistical analysis of survey data, and be familiar with software and programming tools used in data analysis, such as NVivo, SPSS and SAS.  They should also have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and good publication record.  The appointee is expected to write scientific publications and assist in report writing.  A focus of the appointee's research work will be on infection control and antibiotics use and resistance.
