Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Stress and Learning in the Faculty of Education, to commence on November 1, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter for a period of three years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Psychophysiology, Cognitive Psychology, Computational Neuroscience, or a relevant field. They should have demonstrated expertise in the neuroscience research techniques, such as EEG and/or fNIRS.  Candidates with experience in research on stress in relation to learning are preferable. The appointee will work closely with the team at the Laboratory of Neuroscience for Education (NfE) to collect neurochemical, neuroelectrical, behavioural, and cognitive data from elementary school students, and to perform data analyses. He/She is also expected to contribute to funding applications, writing research papers, as well as to support the NfE lab’s development of teaching and training capacity for a new post-graduate programme in Neuroscience for Education.  The appointee will work under the supervision of Professor Akaysha Tang.
