Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the Department of Anaesthesiology, to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences or neuroscience. Experience in basic methods of molecular biology, biochemistry, and rodent behavioural tests is essential. Rich experience in chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP), methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP), and genetic engineering technology, and a strong publication record in the related study areas in pain medicine would be an advantage. Applicants should also be self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team with multi-tasking abilities in the setting of a multifunctional laboratory. The appointee will participate in translational research projects to study epigenetic regulation of neuropathic pain in animal models and humans.
