Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Big Data Analytics in the School of Public Health to commence as soon as possible for two years.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research (Ph.D., D. Sc., or equivalent) in Computer Science/Informatics or related disciplines. They should have a strong quantitative background with demonstrated experience in analysis of Big Data (for structured data, unstructured data, multimedia data); be familiar with the models used in machine learning/deep learning; and be familiar with the software and programming tools that are widely used in data analysis, such as SPSS, R, python and tensorflow.  They should also have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.  The appointee is expected to write scientific publications and assist in writing reports.  He/She will be primarily responsible for methodological and applied work in statistical research for data in family and ICT behaviors arising from the Project.
