Salary: Level C: $120,993 - $139,510 p.a. or Level D: $145,685 - $160,500 p.a plus 17% superannuation. Level of appointment will be determined by the level of achievement of the applicant.
The University of Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic, motivated and team-focused Veterinary Neurologist to join our team in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the Melbourne Veterinary School. In this position you will take a leading role in the theoretical and practical instruction in the area of veterinary medicine or surgery with an emphasis in the area of neurology for students enrolled in the DVM program and you will contribute to curricular development. You will also directly contribute to the professional training of graduate students and junior academic staff in veterinary neurology. Working alongside our experienced team, you will be responsible for leadership of the clinical neurology service in the U-Vet Hospital and for planning, developing and implementing research, establishing collaborations with other researchers and supervising graduate research students in the veterinary sciences.
The position will be based at the Werribee campus of the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences but will be expected to teach at the Parkville campus from time to time.
