Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Strategy/International Business (IB) in the School of Business, to commence on August 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Strategy, International Business or Management, with potential for high-quality research and teaching.

Preference will be given to those in Strategy/IB areas such as corporate strategy, global strategy, firm boundaries and organisation, with a focus on strategies in emerging economies.  The appointee is expected to publish in top-tier strategy/IB journals and to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  Information about the School can be obtained at http://www.fbe.hku.hk/about/school-of-business.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
