Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor in Anatomical Pathology in the Department of Pathology, to commence as soon as possible, on a four-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Hong Kong Medical Council, and preferably have, or nearly have, obtained a professional qualification in Pathology (HKCPath, MRCPath, FRCPA or equivalent, such as an American Board certification), with sub-specialization in Anatomical Pathology. They should also have a solid track record of clinical services in Anatomical Pathology; teaching and research track record/experience in anatomic pathology and molecular pathology, publications and grant applications, and a strong commitment to medical education and research. The appointee will contribute to clinical services in Anatomical Pathology, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development; conduct research and secure research funding; and assist in administrative duties in the Department and the Faculty. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical benefits. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidates. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
