Program Director, Social Ventures

The Program Director, Social Ventures will be responsible for developing and launching a set of university-wide programs for students interested in the creation of both social and cultural initiatives, with a special focus on problems faced by the City of Boston and surrounding region. These programs should build upon and support already existing initiatives on campus and may include mentoring programs, accelerators and incubators or competitions. This position will also be a liaison with relevant student organizations on campus.
A Master's or other graduate degree is preferred. A minimum of three years experience, preferably in non-profit entrepreneurship; proven interest and experience working on important social problems; some knowledge of scholarly work on social entrepreneurship and excellent oral and written communications skills are all strongly desired. We seek a forward-thinking and goals-oriented individual who is able to work both independently and be part of a team.
