Starting Salary: £28,936 per annum 
Hours: Full time (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

The CIO is responsible for the IT, Library and Technology Enhanced Learning functions of the University. The CIO also runs the Information and Technology project office that oversee delivery of all information and technology related University projects, which the EA will often coordinate and / or provide support for. 

About the post 

We are seeking to recruit a highly capable administrator to provide Executive assistance to the Chief Information Officer and co-ordinate a varied portfolio of information and technology projects. 

As Projects Officer you will act as a focus of source of planning and delivery of the IT, information and library projects overseen by the CIO. You will administer projects from initial work request through to completion. You will ensure projects are initiated and progressed according to agreed governance and delivery procedures. You will maintain all project paperwork and produce monthly summary reports on overall project status (risks, issues, spend, cashflow, etc). 

As Executive Assistant you will provide a high level confidential administrative support to the CIO on a day-to-day basis including maintaining electronic diary, managing calls, arranging meetings, liaising with internal and external contacts and establishing and maintaining filing systems. There are also opportunities to run small projects as needed. 
This is a full time role and is immediately available.
