STEM Schools Outreach Coordinator

The Faculty of Engineering & Information Sciences is a research intensive Faculty with extensive teaching operations in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. It has approx. 5000 undergraduate & postgraduate students onshore and offshore, and approx. 353 academic/research/professional staff.
Working in the Faculty’s student recruitment and external relations team, the STEM Schools Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating the Faculty’s primary and secondary schools outreach programs, events, marketing and recruitment activities.
The primary objectives for this role are to: develop relationships with local and regional schools and teachers; develop and implement programs and events focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines, and increase awareness of careers in these fields; evaluate and report on marketing and events activities; and promote the Faculty, its core business and operations through a mix of communications.
