Swinburne University is seeking to appoint a Director of Neuroimaging and Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience to lead its state-of-the-art neuroimaging facility and research agenda.

The appointee will be responsible for developing, conducting and advancing research within the field of cognitive neuroscience through their own research and by collaboration. They will provide leadership and management to the administration and scientific direction of Swinburne’s neuroimaging facility and will also sit on the Neuroimaging Operations Committee and Neuroimaging Executive Committee. Finally they will provide leadership as the Swinburne Node Director of the National Imaging Facility and provide input into relevant teaching areas.

The incumbent will have expertise collecting and analysing functional neuroimaging data within the modalities of MEG, fMRI and/or EEG. Prior experience collaborating within clinical, cognitive and/or pharmacological areas would also be advantageous. In addition to the ability to lead a high quality and productive academic environment,they will also develop positive ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the development and delivery of education, research, professional and industry activities and reputation.
