The School of Social Science and Public Policy, was formed in 2015 bringing
together disciplines of Criminology, Education, Social Work and Sociology.
Our research and educational programmes, internationally recognised,
are theoretically innovative and practically relevant. The School is strongly
committed to interdisciplinary research that enhances social inclusion.

Salary in the range: Grade 7a £34,520 to £39,992 or
Grade 8, Starting Salary £41,212 (dependent upon experience and skills)

The successful candidate will be required to make a strong contribution to
the School’s distinctive education research, to REF 2021, to interdisciplinary
research activities and to education programmes at Undergraduate, Masters
and Professional Doctorate (EdD) levels. In time, you will also be looking to
take a leadership role in one of these programmes.
