Location:     University Park
Salary:     £17,399 to £20,624 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised marketing assistant to join our award-winning External Relations team.

The successful candidate will support the student recruitment marketing team in delivering relevant elements of the University’s student recruitment strategy. This will involve working closely with other marketing officers and colleagues to provide administrative support. 

The role holder will have responsibility for a wide range of tasks, including: copywriting, email marketing, web updates, market research and supporting major recruitment events. This role requires excellent customer service skills, diary management and organisation of departmental emails.

A good eye for detail is vital as the role holder will be responsible for making prompt updates to information across the University’s systems. They will use the content management and email systems correctly – applying brand guidelines and tailoring the tone of voice for the University’s diverse audiences. Previous experience handling data would be beneficial.

Candidates are expected to have a positive approach to teamwork. They will ideally have experience of working in a complex environment (preferably HE) and have the confidence to liaise with stakeholders across the institution.
Candidates should be educated to A level (or equivalent) and be competent at administration. An interest in working in a marketing environment is desirable.

This is a full-time post, for 36.25 hours a week Monday to Friday.
