Salary:     £22,494 to £26,829 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Faculty of Arts, responsible for a range of important education and student experience activities in the Faculty and specifically the development and expansion of the forthcoming Liberal Arts degree.

Working with the Course Director, the role holder will manage and co-ordinate the Liberal Arts programme, e.g. develop and implement processes, liaise with colleagues across the University (especially Student Services), support Quality Assurance, meet with students. The role holder will also work closely with the Faculty Education and Student Experience Managers to support Faculty projects and activities improving student experience, e.g. lead elements of large projects, collate and present management information, produce reports, manage events.

The successful candidate will have a good education background and be able to demonstrate considerable experience in a similar role. Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills, including development of procedure, guidance/policy documents, a high degree of initiative, a professional attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Experience using a range of IT systems and packages (including MS Office) is essential.
