Salary from £28,721 to £33,244 pa inclusive
 
This is a fixed term position or secondment opportunity until 5 June 2018
  
The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method are seeking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager to join a friendly team in a busy departmental office, covering a secondment. Duties will include responsibility for all Undergraduate Programmes within the Department including orientation, examinations and acting as first point of contact for student and general enquiries. The candidate will also be a key person in planning and organising events and activities to promote student engagement and the LSE experience.
 
Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills, be highly IT literate, and preferably be educated to degree level or equivalent. You should be able to work well within a busy office environment and deal with a varied workload. 
 
This role will be considered as a secondment opportunity to enable existing employees to broaden their knowledge, experience and skills by transferring to a different team/department. Existing employees wishing to apply for this role as a secondment opportunity should discuss the role and seek agreement form their substantive manager in advance of their application.
